Are there any oral medications that can be prescribed for a yeast infection?

Do you think it's possible to get them prescibed with talking to a nurse on the phone rather than going to see a doctor, for I know it is a yeast infection. Are there any oral medications that can be prescribed for a yeast infection?
Yes, there are medications in pill form. You could call your doctor's office and let them know that you have a yeast infection and ask if they can call in some diflucan to the pharmacy.
I think they would only do it if they know you but until you get something try taking a hot salt bath 1to 2cups of salt and the hottest water you can stand, you can also eat yogurt but it takes a little longer to work.
yes there is its called fluconazole
Diflucan 500 worked well for me. In some countries it's prescription medication, in some - over the counter. I believe, a prescription is to be given by a doctor, at least it has always been the case with me.
no, unfortunately you need to make a quick visit to the doctors office to have an exam by a nurse if not your regular doctor. they will only perscribe Diflucan after a medical official has a look-see. i know, this is a pain....
sadly you have to be seen by a nurse / doctor to make sure that it is a yeast infection as if it isnt and your taking medications for it then this can cause you to be ill.
caneston duo is meant to be good
Eat lots of yogurt...daily...it works! I start eating yogurt right away if I am prescribed any antibiotics to prevent YIs
