Birth Control and Antibiotics?

What are the chances of conceiving while taking antibiotics and on birth control ???Birth Control and Antibiotics?
Your chance of becoming pregnant is either 0% or 100%. For an individual person, there is no other answer. You either won't become pregnant (0%) or you will become pregnant (100%). Antibiotics only increase the probability of being one of the 100% people instead of one of the 0%'ers. Good luck. Use protection.
When taking antibiotics and using the pill you should use a back up plan. I am not sure what the odds are but that is what I have always been told.
Depending on where in your cycle you are, the chances increase exponentially. In other words, if you're a day or two from your period, you're less likely to get pregnant while taking the pill than if you're in mid-cycle.
The best thing to do is to NEVER chance it; always use backup birth control in the event that you're prescribed antibiotics, and for 7 full days after the last dose.
Pretty good. Why risk it? My ex-boss got pregnant with her son while she was taking birth control pills and taking antibiotics at the same time.
Antibiotics cancel out the birth control so be careful.
