Bad period pain but no period?

since yesterday afternoon i have had what feels like bad period pain in my lower abdomen back and sides, it is dull and constant. it even woke me last night when i dreamt i was in labour ( i remember the pains from when i was in labour a few years ago) but with labour it came in waves this is constant and it hurts.... i have not had period pain for years.... so i have no idea what it could be. any ideas?Bad period pain but no period?

It could be a fart on its way out.
sometimes people get cramps 1 or 2 weeks before their period.
Could you be pregnant?
(I.B.L) irritable bowel syndrome could be a passable reason I get it and it feels sometimes like bad period pain and often keep up all night
but a GP is the best way to go
as it may be something more serous and irritable bowl Sydrome can be eased by medication.
i know how you feel Ive been having un regular periods for ages but each month i get those cramps and they kill and yeah they do feel like labour plains don't they if they carry on go to your doctor i hope they clear up soon. pebbles xxx
