Birth Control Methods?

Which of these 3 bc methods has the least risk?
The Pill
The Patch
or The Shot

They are all hormone methods so they all carry the same type of risks. The shot tends to cause more nasty side effects than the other two but the actual risk is the same for all three as they are homone methods of birth control.
the most effective is abstinence, the others depends on if you use them properly and regularly.

I would think the shot because you can't forget to use it or misuse it.
I would guess that the shot is better at prevention of pregnancy. I am not sure which has the worst side effects though.
