Am i soon to get my period?

i am 11 years old and i have been having really bad cramps lately, one morning i rolled over on my side and couldnt move beause it hurt so much on my side and my stomach has been hurting a lot around that area, beneath my belly button. i have been having headaches and mood swings. i am starting to eat a little more. could i be getting close to my period? what did u feel like and how did u act when u got ur first period?Am i soon to get my period?
Yeah i would say this is the beginning....that happened to me and then my mum said I think you will get it soon you have been moody cranky and even crying for no reason......then before I knew it i woke up and there it was! =)
This could be that you're getting your period. I got mine for the first time in school in 5th grade, my stomach was hurting really bad and I went to the bathroom and discovered to my surprise that i was bleeding. I knew what a period was, but i was shocked i got it just all of a sudden. I would say u should just travel with a pad for the next few days just in case it sneaks up on you, so you'll be prepared.
