Alcohol+methotrxate?

I was treated with metho on monday for an ectopic pregnancy, Today is my b-day and was going to go out for dinner with a few friends. I was told and read no alcohol use while on the medicine because sever problems can affect the liver while using metho for a long period of time. most people that use the drug are on it due to cancer and take it regualer. I asked my dr if i could have a few drinks he said one would be ok, just wondering if a few will hurt me. and how long is the metho. in my system? It has already done the job it was suppose to doAlcohol+methotrxate?
I suggest you ask your doctor, it’s the best thing you can do for your health.
methotrexate was 5 days back. guess you can safely take a 30-60ml peg of alcohol. good luck.
