Alesse Birth control.......NO sex drive?

i'm taking Alesse 21's birth control, and i have ni sex drive WHAT SO EVER...i also have a 2yr. old...some people say its not the pills, but rather the fact that a child drags you out and u dont want to have sex...but somehow i dont think the same...my 2yr. old doesnt drag me out very much...but i just dont EVER want to have sex....maybe 1 or 2 times every 2 months (thats bad) and before i was on the pill, i wanted it all the time...i had a really high sex drive....so i was wondering what info you women got on Alesse...do u think if i change pills my sex drive would change??/ any helpful info would be prefect! Also is there a chance they can cause migrains? i have had really bad once since starting Alesse, and i am supposed to change them, but my DR is on vacation and wont be back till March19th...but i was thinking maybe a "LOW" birth contro would be better for the headaches?? liike i said ANY INFO is nice!!! from the WOMEN PLEASE!!!Alesse Birth control.......NO sex drive?
i used to take alesse for other pourpose and the only thing i can assure you is that you have to stop the pills if you're having migrains. ciao
Birth control pills often cause migraines as the hormones drop off. They can also cause low sex drive, breast pain, and vaginal dryness. You're supposed to give a pill 3 months to work, if you can stand it-- it's not good for your body to keep switching pills.
Different BC pills cause different things. Your OB/GYN would know (better than most general practitioners). I use Yaz which is better than Yasmin for me, and better than Alesse, which I also tried. However, i'm still getting headaches after this, my 3rd month. If I still get headaches this month, I'm quitting. You have to weigh the headaches against the other positives/negatives. Maybe there's another doc in your practice to see? SOMEONE ought to be covering.
